That's my spouse Leora Troper playing lead guitar in the green dress with her 3 day old group, Random Objects, on stage at the Satyricon. You see, Rock Camp for Girls (link) holds these Ladies Rock Camp weekends (link) which are fund raisers for Rock Camp for Girls.
So Leora spent three days with her group writing a song, working on their instruments and attitudes and rehearsing for the Sunday afternoon show. About 10 groups each performed one song.
I took our kids (age 10 and 6) down to see their Mama live out her rock n roll fantasies. Our 10 year old son thought it was really cool. Our six year old daughter said, later that day, as she nodded off to sleep, "I mean what's the point of rock and roll? It's just loud, that's all." And just for the record, her husband thinks that Leora Troper rocked!
